Disasters

The next couple of pages are the two sadeest really

, this is just a  BEWARE notice..these two poor prams were purchased, in good faith, and described on a leading auction site, as reasonable good condition,

The black silver cross on the right...was purchased from London for 130 pounds, and the only thing I needed to know, was the condition of the wheels!!!!!!, you can make your own mind up on that one!!

The pram was beyond my capabilities[ie rechroming!!]..I sold her for her true value of  20.00 pounds..well ..you win, you lose!!!.

Things like this, make you very cautious...so do be, ask all the questions ..and get all the right answers

Now this little beauty!![ or she is now]!!!!

I purchased this london baby coach, by looking at one photo[silly me], on a leading auction site, by what we would call a reputable pram collector..

She was purchased by me for 240 pounds, plus collection, so I spent around 290 pounds..

You can imagine my reaction when she was delivered....Again I will let you make up your own minds on this one.

The downside to this little story is, I lost an awful lot of money on the LBC, as she sold to a pram friend of mine, for 80 pounds!!

Thankfully for the pram, she is being lovingly restored.. In a way that was what made me decide on this site...to really warn you pram  lovers, of the negative side to pram collecting..

Remember what some people call good condition, is not always your idea of good condition.

.P.s forgot to mention, neither previous owners where prepared to refund me!!!  So I had to sell..and in my  calculations thats a loss of 310 pounds, on the two prams..DO BEWARE !!
